FIRST GRADE Welcome to Marine Creek Elementary School's First Grade webpage! First Grade is an exciting year. We are looking forward to becoming great readers, mathematicians, scientists, and historians. First Graders are working very hard to improve their reading ability. It is our goal to exceed the state recommended goal of reading 60 words per minute by the end of the school year. In Math this year we will memorize addition and subtraction facts to 18, count coins, and many other wonderful things!
