McGruff the Crime Dog is a trusted voice in crime prevention across the country. There are many guidelines governing any official appearance of McGruff, one of which dictates that he always be in the company of a police officer. In our particular case, he will be escorted by Officer Mia Toines of the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department. McGruff spoke to Effie Morris Elementary students about drug awareness and crime prevention. We were very lucky to have the “real McGruff” and Officer Toines visit our school!! |
